This version is the first YEM I'd ever heard.  Low quality
AUD recording, my first Phish tape (a mix of stuff from
early '89 that I got in April '89 from a college friend).
The whole opening segment is cut, and the person who made
this mix started the YEM on the screaming before BOY.  I
start the timing on "Boy."  I remember when I first heard
this.. "Gee, this is weird.  I wish I had a better quality
copy of this song, and one that wasn't cut."  I remember
thinking at that time that there was no hope for ever
getting a nicer copy of it, since I'd been told that it
wasn't on any of their CDs.  I thought I'd never get a
nice quality YEM on tape... and I didn't, actually, until
1993, when I first began to actively get Phish tapes. ;)

The WUDMTF is standard for the old versions.  There is no
Page dominating jam segment.. Trey cuts in right after the
WUDMTF chorus/lines jamming melodically and very, VERY
passionately.  Possum was my first Phish song (3/24/89
Paradise version), but this YEM really caught my ear.
Memories.. I self-indulge only to reveal how ridiculously
naive I was about Phish tapes at that time.

Trey is trilling like crazy about the 11:30 point, just
before the bass and drums kick in (with accompaniment from
Page and Trey, as usual for these old versions).  The
10:30 time is compensating for the missing opening
instrumental segment, which was likely akin to the '88
versions.

At around 13 minutes, they start up the WUDMTF chorus, and
then the vocal jamming begins... and then CUT. ;)  This
mix clearly originated from someone who wasn't fond of the
YEM opening instr section (!) or the vocal jam.. I'll
wager that the timing on this version is in the vicinity
of 14 minutes.  (C rating)
