Thanks, David S., for these and other rare tapes..

Opening standard (well, this Tweezer is a little slower and more
plodding than usual).  Pre-Ebeneezer segment extremely dull.. lots of
screaming on Ebeneezer, though..

Jam segment at 4:46.  This version sounds remarkably similar to many
other versions around this time.. just incredibly.  Page is actually
note for note playing in a manner I know I've heard him play in
Tweezer before.  Trey, around 6:08, teases something I have heard..
he then teases this lick around 6:15 again.  I can't name this little
lick (what song it is from?), and I don't really care. It isn't that
cool, imo.. he teases it again around 6:45.  Whatever.  Agh.  It is
obviously a tease of something non-Phish I have heard.

This jam isn't that great, in all honesty.  It just kinda plods along
somewhat aimlessly.. it sounds like one giant death march.  Sob.
Nothing cheery or inspiring in here at all.  Even when Trey starts
soloing well around 7:30 or so, he's noodling in a wholly drab manner,
imo.  Some nice sustaining around 8:10, to be fair.. but still.  This
version makes me want to lie down and go to sleep.. oh wait.. nice
groove around 8:35 or so, but still, nothing so redeeming.  Trey just
keeps ascending a scale here and there and sustaining.. ok, ok.. a
good final minute.  Nevertheless, not a great version in light of
sooooo many others.

The NOTE at 9:42 or so, and a very pleasant dying out of the theme
ending, as all of you have undoubtedly heard them perform before..

4.5 rating for this Tweezer.  Total time 10:40.  It really was
refreshing to listen to this Tweezer.. I mean, listen to a version
like this and then listen to 8/6/96 or any 12/95 version..
bwaahahahaha..

two cents
