Okay, that was my first show, and I was seriously blown away!

I've listened to lots of Phish on tape, and have a very good sense
of the music, so nothing in the music department completely blew my
mind...But what got to me was 1) all the crazy stuff they do on stage
(eg. I couldn't beleive the trampolines, nor the vaccuum cleaner.)
and 2) the amount of energy they gave off. Overall it was the best
thing I've ever seen on a stage, hands down! Every minute it got better,
but highlights for me were a smokin' Tweezer, the jam just seemed to go
on forever, and they would keep mellowing it out, and then Trey would get
this insane look on his face, and they'd explode again....another
highlight
was the Golgi Apperatus closer! WoW!

Does anyone know the song they played before Tweezer reprise?
And is it theirs or a cover?

Also if anyone taped it, it was my first, I'll trade anything

What a kickin' show!!! The Spectrum was very very small. the band had
barely
any room on stage (compared to Cornell!). Security was really annoying
when
we were going in, but I didn't see any security the rest of the night.
The
whole place was really really crowded. Page was out walking around before
the show talking with folks, but no sign of any other members.

The first set was really excellent with really smokin tunes.
the second set highlight was definetly Tweezer. IT was really amazing!!
The
whole band really got into it.

Have they ever played Mystery ship( i think thats the name) live before.
It
was a great version. Page sang lead vocals and did a great job!!

anyways, I know I got all of set I down okay (I checked with Paul!), but
I wasn't sure about that one song in set II ( I know I've heard it before,
but
can't remember the name!).

see ya all in springfield and NYE!!

Going into Toronto I was expecting a rather standard mass oriented
show... The first set was played well but was a little predictable. The
second set was incredible though! The Tweezer was very incredible and
fish's song was.... If I only had a brain!

and 1st encore.... Mystery Ship!!!!!!

      I II
Llama Maze
Foam Glide
Sparkle The Curtain
Caverns *Tweezer*
Reba Rift
The Landlady Guelah Papyrus
Split Open and Melt You Enjoy Myself
Poorheart If I only had A Brain
All Things Reconsidered Squirming Coil
Bouncing Round the Room Golgi Apparatus
Run Like an Antelope

E: Mystery Ship
   Tweezer Reprise

A most excellent show. After all things reconsidered Trey made little
hints back to it in Bouncing and Antelope. Also... Phish are starting to
have groups of females rushing the stage between sets with less things on
their mind then intelligent conversation...

Hi Mike! Where were you Al?

Toronto was an incredible show. I loved both first and second set.
i loved bouncing, I couldn't stop moveing for the whole show
when phishman sang the scarecrow song i looked around and I
        couldn't find a face that wasn't smiling.

WAS THERE ANY TAPES MADE THERE? I would do anything for a copy
pleeeease mail me if there is

i really liked the Spectrum because it was small
everyone was right there with the group
the sound was great to. The only other indoor show i saw
them play was the Armory in Syracuse. The echos there were
        horrible.

        impresive show

I thought that the Totonto show was a great show musically, but
the one thing that I reaaly didn't like, was the fact that there
was nowhere in the whole place to go to dance without bumping
into someone. I like to have a little more room, even if it means
going to the back of the place and not seeing the ba unobstructed.
Also I found some of the personel at the Spectrum very rude. My
friends adn I were called 'loser Americans' many times, because
ticketmaster told us to pick up our tickets at the door. The
woman made a big scene and really started the night out bad.
Well, enough of that, I read a few digests back, that someone
was going to post a bitmap of the logo for the opening screen of
windows. I would like to know when that may happen, my account is
going to expire soon, and a
oops... I am very interested in getting it.
